Since I spend my days sitting around listening to and thinking about music working hard for the Cutting Room, I figured I might as well share my thoughts and opinions on a music blog. For those of you who are always asking me to recommend new artists, this is for you.

The plan is to review albums and shows, and hopefully interview some really cool artists / music industry folk. I’ll keep you posted on any cool music books or articles I come across too. (I’m about to start This is Your Brain on Music - I figured any book written by a Canadian “rocker turned neurologist” has to be worth reading.)

A little bit about me: I’m 22, have a B.A. in Music from Scripps College, used to intern at Astralwerks Records, and I currently work at a music venue in NYC called The Cutting Room. As for my blogging street cred, I used to live with Perez Hilton… ’nuff said. Enjoy!
